Do I need to be technical?

How is this different from a chatbot?

Does Manta act without me?

Only if you tell it to. By default it answers, books, and takes messages inside the script you approve, and anything outside it becomes a hand-off. Give an agent more room and it still works inside the rules you set, with a kill switch you hold.

Which tools can I connect?

Does Manta record my calls?

Only if you turn recording on. When you do, the agent plays the notice your jurisdiction requires before anything is stored, and a caller who declines is handled with nothing kept. Recordings and transcripts belong to your business and can be deleted at any time.

Does Chat support voice?

Yes. The same agent answers the phone with the same script and the same connected tools, so moving a role from chat to voice does not mean training it twice.

Yes. Every agent starts in supervised mode: you call it yourself, replay real conversations, and correct it in place. Nothing reaches a customer until you switch the role live.

How is my account secured?

Tool credentials are encrypted, data is AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit with KMS-backed key rotation, and SOC 2 Type II is underway. Every connection is scoped to what the role needs and revocable from inside Manta.

What happens when an agent cannot help?

It hands off. You name the topics that must reach a person, and the agent transfers immediately with the conversation so far. If nobody picks up, it takes a message and logs it against the caller.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Plans are month-to-month or annual. Cancel anytime from inside the product; your agents keep running to the end of the billing period.
